This collection is titled the Kaamos Collection.
Kaamos, the Finnish word for Polar Night is the darkest time of the year when the sun does not rise over the horizon line in the arctic circle.
Contrary to popular belief, all is not pitch black during this time. At noon there is twilight for several hours filled with stunning colours that paint the sky blue, teal, red, pink, and gold. When the snow has fallen the light is enhanced by the snow covering the ground, which also receives help from the moon, starry sky, and the northern lights.
At times the moon is so bright that you can see your shadow sharp when you walk in the moonlight.
I wish for these works to bring you joyful colour during the darkest days.
